Sorry for the delay in the new episode -- I've been working on getting the latest addition to the Red Raspus Radio family, Seattle Jazztalk, together, and am also attending the Podcast Hotel on Saturday, so thinks have been a bit hectic. I was supposed to play at the event (the mention of jazz on the Podcast Hotel schedule), but due to some room scheduling problems, we weren't able to get it happening. However, I'm so looking forward to the event tomorrow -- Alex Williams and I have talked about getting it solidified before the (hopefully) next one so wel can get jazz represented! Things are a-changing! We are so excited to bring you some news of a couple of new developements! In the works, to debut in the coming weeks, is the all-new Jazz Podcast Network. I can't tell you how happy I am to be a part of the founding crew putting this together along with Portland Jazz Jams, Detroit Jazzstage, and Red Jazz Radio -- look forward to more information on this in the coming weeks. My apologies everyone -- I know its been ten days, and I've been busting ass to get the next episode together for you, but the dark forces in the world are at work against me and I am running against tremendous technical issues with my temporary gear (still looking for an apartment in Seattle). I've got a horrific lo-fi version of the podcast put together, but I'm just not happy enough with it. The music for the show comes from a couple of different artists from vastly different styles, including Greg Sinibaldi's group, Frieze of Life. I've also been working on some minor aesthetic changes to the site, as evidenced by the new masthead, with more to come. If you have requests for certain music for the podcast, or information for the blog page, feel free to e-mail me or post comments. Check back in the next few days to more information and the new episode.

Once again, I'm behind schedule this week, but this is the final week of my packing-scheduling-moving hustle-bustle, and I promise to have the new episode up this afternoon. I apologize in advance for some artist repeats, but they should mostly be new tracks to the podcast.
